“I would love this for Michelle Obama.,” said stylist George Worrell. “Well, the color red looks fabulous on her.”

At the Saks Jandel store in Chevy Chase, Worrell showed how he would dress Michelle Obama. For business, he would dress her comfortable and confident and for cocktail, simple but elegant. For evening wear, Worrell is hoping the new first lady picks him to be her stylist. It would be a tremendous honor,” said Worrell. “But I think at the end of the day, I’m just the second set of eyes.”

Some say a picture is worth a thousand words. Others, say that you can’t believe everything you see. Take this week’s cover of New York magazine which features a beautiful picture of future first lady Michelle Obama and first daughters Sasha and Malia. Subscriber or not, I definitely would have picked up this issue. Seeing the soon to be ladies of the White House and their radiant smiles on the cover totally piqued my interest. Moreover, I couldn’t wait to read the story. But after a minute or so of flipping madly through each page, I found myself staring at the back cover in bewilderment.

She’s been named the best-dressed woman in the world, but Michelle Obama’s election night dress left some fans wondering if the First-Lady-to-be could still lead the style world. My vote’s in for Michelle Obama to still set a wonderful fashion vibe (in fact, many of the dress styles she wear work for most women); the red and black Narciso Rodriguez (thanks to Fashiontribes for digging up that one) that she wore on election night was simply ruined by a black cardigan. I know I’ve been guilty of tossing an errant sweater over a perfectly good outfit. But, then again, my hubby has never been named the leader-elect of the free world. What do you think?
